This is me, Amanda.
I was born in 1990 and consider it to be the best year to be born.
I am a product of my family and I love that.
Without my mother and sister I don't know who I'd be, but I'm pretty sure I would feel incomplete.
We were born in North Carolina, grew up in New Orleans (by way of Ohio and Indiana), and experienced the wonderful teenage years in Colorado and Kentucky.
After that, I went to "university" at St. Catherine College and started graduate school at the University of Kentucky. During that time I studied everything I could, fell in love with a big God, and made friends all over the world.
Nowadays I look a little more like this.
I live on an island in the middle of the Caribbean.
My hair is still big and curly and most of that sass is still in there.
For now, I'm serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic and loving every minute a whole lot of it. I don't know what comes next, but I think I have enough stuff to get me through the end of my service.
